Whenever you want to launch a direct marketing campaign, everything starts with List Building – building a list of “leads” – potential contacts to whom you will deliver your marketing message(s). In this List Building Guide, we will discuss ways to profitably outsource this list building process.

Whether you’re telemarketing, email marketing, contact form marketing, or social media marketing … you’ll need some type of information on who you’re going to contact. This list, or database of information, is your Lead List. The process of creating your Lead List is called “List Building“, and it comes in all shapes & sizes.

No matter what, List Building is essential to launching any successful outbound marketing campaign. You need someone to contact, and if you don’t build the right list for your offer, your marketing efforts are going to fall flat.

One of the most difficult & confusing aspects of business process outsourcing (BPO) is choosing the right tasks to outsource in the first place.

Not every process in your business is ripe for outsourcing, but if you can find the right tasks & delegate them to an offshore team, you can instantly boost profit margins (sometimes significantly) through savings on HR overhead. Unfortunately, if you choose the wrong tasks, you won’t achieve your objectives, and you can find yourself paying out of pocket (sometimes significantly) for little to no desirable results.

Even if you’re an expert on how to outsource (and what providers, portals, and services you can use to do so) … you might not be an expert on choosing exactly what to outsource.

Which begs the question:

Whether you want to hire a real estate virtual assistant, or you are looking for a real estate virtual assistant job, this guide will help to break down some of the most frequently needed, useful, and reasonably easy tasks that can be completed without the workers' physical presence.

First off, just to be sure we're on the same page, a Virtual Assistant is somebody who works off-site … down the street, in another city, or on the other side of the globe. When it comes to running any type of outbound sales & marketing campaign, everything starts with data.

You have to have some idea of who you’re going to contact, and the necessary contact information to contact them (phone number, email, mailing address, social media, etc). The most effective campaigns often combine multiple channels of communication, meaning the more info you have on your targets, the better your chances of converting them into a paying client.

Whether you’re planning to call everyone in the phone book, or to send unique emails to 27 key decision makers at your most prized target organizations … everything in your direct sales & marketing campaign rides on the strength (or weakness) of your “lead list.”

For purposes of this discussion, the lead list” can be defined as: ALL the data you have on your targeted contacts; their organization(s), contact information, descriptions, notes, etc.

A lead list can be as simple as names & numbers, and as complex as dossiers with background & credit checks.

No matter how you slice it, if you are relying on this data to earn a profit, building your lead list will make or break your outbound marketing campaign. That’s why it’s important to approach this process with a strategic vision guided by these 4 Principles…
